Ensure all contact information is up to date
Remove any sensitive personal information that isn't necessary for job applications
Save your CV in PDF format
Our systems cannot currently read scanned or photographed CVs

Understanding How We Handle Your CV

CV Fingerprinting

When you upload your CV, we create a unique fingerprint based on its characteristics. This helps us:

Prevent duplicate submissions
Track when your CV was last updated
Maintain data quality

Data Retention

Your CV and associated data will be retained for three months after its last use. After this period, it will be automatically and securely deleted unless required for legal reasons.

Important Note

Our systems cannot currently read scanned or photographed CVs. Make sure your CV is typed and saved in PDF format. To see if your CV is compatible with MagicCV, try copy text from it using any PDF viewer, if you're able to do this it's safe to upload.
